We offer our graphic design services to all, no apparel orders required. Our artists can create everything from company logos, banners, advertisements, web icons, web pages, even business cards and stationary. Our graphic design services can be as simple as taking your line drawing and making it a computer file to be edited and used for shirts. Or as complicated as creating your idea from scratch. Either way our art department can help you with what you need. To get started, email us your ideas and include as many examples or ideas as possible. We will then give you an estimate based on complexity of the project and our estimated time needed to create your design. We accept payment upfront for the base price we agree upon. If we need more time we will always let you know ahead of time ensuring you always know what you are paying for.

Art Preparation for Screen Printing and Embroidery
Need help with creating or editing your apparel design? Whether you are in the market for screen printed or embroidered products our art department can transform your ideas into visually aesthetic designs. Submit your ideas or a rough draft of your artwork to-Miles@positivethreads.com and let us take it from there. Send your drawing to us and we can convert it into a computer file that is useable for all applications. Screen printing, embroidery, web applications and more. We also provide color separations for 4 color process and simulated process printing. Once we have finished creating your design we will give you your artwork back in the preferred file formats. .ai .eps .psd .jpg .pdf for all of you using pleasure.
File types
We prefer vector files for your final artwork if you are able to provide them. Vector files are simply the best to work with for screen printing. We are able to seamlessly work with your artwork. Re-sizing, scaling, adding or deleting elements in the art, color separations are all much easier with vector artwork. The vector file types we are able to work with are Adobe Illustrator .ai, .eps .pdf .svg files. All final artwork used for screen printing must either be vector files or created at 300 DPI and saved to the final print size. Art files for embroidery need to be at least 300 DPI when created and saved to the size you want the final product. If you need help re-sizing your image our art department can help. The preferred file types for both screen printing and embroidery are .AI, .EPS, .PDF, .PSD, .JPG, .TIF Your design should be sized to print if possible. Orders cannot be started until we have usable artwork. We will send out a proof of your image for you to approve before we start any project. Approval must be made of the mock up image before we can start the turnaround time. If you need assistance with your artwork, we can help with anything from conceptualization to simple editing. Digitized files need to be provided in a .emb AND .dst file types to avoid digitizing fees. Graphic design fees still may apply.
